Solutions
Improve Quality
Control
Catch product defects, avoid rejects and minimise system downtime. Give
yourself the competitive advantage.
Perform automated 100% inspection of product before final shipping, thus
improving quality, increasing yield, increasing consumer confidence and
ultimately decreasing the unit cost of production.
Fast, reliable and cost effective solutions. All systems FDA 21 CFR Part
11 compliant
The majority of our systems can be retrofitted to existing lines

Print
Verification
Vision systems are commonly employed to perform print verification
using both OCV (Optical Character Verification) and OCR (Optical
Character Recognition). Typical examples include LOT, BATCH and Expiry
code validation used both in manufacturing and in pharmaceutical industries. |
Coated Stent
Inspection
Coated metal stents have proven successful in combating arteries becoming re-clogged as a result of restenosis.
Advance vision algorithms can check for coating coverage, pooling,
webbing, cone contact, bridging and other known defects |
LCD Segment
Inspection:
A 7 character, alphanumeric, 7 segment LCD display is inspected
on-line. This enables the manufacturer to automatically identify
defect display segments and to correct errors early in the production
process, preventing costly rework and potential product recalls. |

Blister Pack
Inspection
Each blister pack is inspected to determine the presence/absence of
capsules during packaging. Using a colour camera the system also
differentiates between different types of pills based on their colour
and shape. |
3D Profile Inspection
Fast, contact free 3D measurement of micro and macro objects.
Perform measurement of the actual data points and compare
measurements against CAD or master data sets. Also suitable for
reverse engineering and wear analysis. Image shown is an height
profile of an orthopaedic Knee joint. |
Gauging and
Measurement
Gauging and part measurement is necessary in most manufacturing environments
especially where automated part handling systems such as robots are
employed. Inline vision systems can automatically measure specified product features and critical parameters. |

Barcode/Datamatrix
Inspection
Barcode labels, manually placed on the side of packaging are difficult
to read using traditional laser barcode readers. However using machine
vision, the barcodes can be located over a large user
defined search area, read and output to the customers factory tracking
system.

Seal Integrity
Inspection
Inspect the SEAL on medical pouches, blisters and packages made of
any material such as foil, film, paper or TYVEK, printed or
nonprinted, colour or transparent. Seal Scan identifies the presence,
type and location of seal defects, verifiying the package integrity
and analyzing the overall seal quality. |
PCB Inspection
Machine vision is successfully being applied through out the
SMT industry to perform a whole range of tasks including in-line
component presence absence detection, part placement and
orientation measurement, solder joint analysis, flipped chip detection,
solder paste analysis and more... |
|
 |
 |
 |
Vial Inspection
High speed, in-line, vial inspection using multiple cameras to
measure liquid fill level, cap placement, cap defects, cosmetic faults
and even fluid contaminants. By monitoring the crimp at the base of
the cap, the seal integrity is also checked to ensure product
integrity .
|
Packaging
Inspection
Correct packaging content is critical for all manufactures. Using a
vision based system, the packaging is checked for part presence,
position and orientation. Missing, skewed or incorrect parts can be
easily indentified, isolated and rejected if required. |
Colour Inspection
Colour classification is important for some applications that need
to distinguish between similar or identical looking parts. Also colour
is importantant factor in many food applications where food colouring
is expected to be consistant. |
